The Foundation

G&D Foundation, a foundation under Swiss law based in Geneva, was set up thanks to the generosity and impetus of Mrs Elina Gianoli Gainza in 2014.

Founder of G&D Fondation

Following the express wish of the founder- who passed away in November 2021- the Foundation aims to provide financial support through donations to Christian-oriented initiatives in the fields of education, social welfare, health, etc., as many of these initiatives do not achieve their goals due to lack of financial resources.

Mission

To collaborate with those who promote projects in accordance with its principles, donating economic resources to entities that work in the field of assistance, prioritising development projects, which are committed to a model of integral formation, in accordance with Christian values, facilitating the human and spiritual maturity of people.

It pays special attention to women of all ages, cultures and religions, so that they can develop their talents to better serve their environment.

Vision

G&D Foundation carries out its activity with Christian inspiration and has the unwavering commitment of its founder to support initiatives that develop following the charism of Saint Josemaría, who inspired Elina during the last 60 years of her life.

This vision manifests itself in selfless service, placing the person and the family at the centre as the basic nucleus of society.
