Elina Gianoli
(1941-2021)
Elina had the desire- and this is how she transmitted it- to be able to contribute to initiatives that would promote the Christian spirit in society, in any part of the world.

She stood out for her free spirit and her joy, for her vocation to do and to help, always with humility and discretion.
Elina used to say that her way was to try to sow peace and joy. Her friends say that she was always happy, and describe her as a person with a positive attitude, empathy and strength, very simple and humane.
Who was Elina
Elina Patricia Gianoli Gainza was born in Viña del Mar (Valparaíso) in 1941 and died in Buenos Aires in 2021. Chilean, Uruguayan and Argentinean at heart, she left her mark in the three countries where she grew up, was educated and worked. From 2 October 1960 she was a member of Opus Dei, an institution of the Catholic Church, and dedicated herself to promoting initiatives linked to education and human development, with complete freedom and making present, through her work, the joy of the Gospel.
